Ellie Cawthera thanked everyone for attending and went through the attendees and apologies.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

Chris to chase Dudu’s Friends – Chris has contacted and is awaiting a reply.

Shruti to give Catie a list of contacts for Enactus – completed.

Chris to contact democracy to chase the Enterprise Officer email account – in progress.

Ellie to talk to enterprise societies regarding having a SUSU Liaison position – completed.

Jenny to chase Amy to email charities for RAG project in SVW – completed.

Chris to send a Doodle Poll to arrange the next meeting – completed.

Santander have verbally agreed to match fundraising. They are also looking to do an event with us by 20/03/15.

RAG are co-hosting a Comedy Society event for Red Nose Day.

The volunteer meetings now have charity societies presenting sessions.

Speed Dating was successful.

Random Acts of Kindness Day went well.

The current RAG total is £40,967.53, which is £15,850.58 more than the same week last year.

There is a raid in Bristol on 07/03/15 for St Peters Hospice. 4 spaces are still available.

The EVA nominations are open. Action – Every member of the committee to make an EVA nomination.

Catie is trying to get an Enterprise committee together.

Catie is contacting people regarding the Big Give.

The University has £100,000 available for student businesses as an equity loan or grant. A project team is working out the details.

Student Volunteer Week was successful. A debrief meeting will be arranged.

Ellie ran through the attached paper. A project group will be set up to restructure volunteering. All agreed that volunteer opportunities should be in one place and be clear and easy to understand.

Action – Ellie & Chris to look at ways to recognise volunteering through the year.

Ellie circulated some Welcome Brochures from various Students’ Unions.

We are working with Winchester and Solent’s Students’ Unions to arrange events leading up to the General Election.

Action – Ellie to circulate the General Elections website to the committee.

Due to time constraints the Enterprise Project Update and Budgets/Aspirations will be discussed in the next meeting.

Ellie briefed the committee on the proposed end of year waste project.

Action – Chris to send a Doodle Poll to arrange the next meeting.
