During your time at Uni there are loads of opportunities to get involved with volunteering and/or fundraising for charities, important causes and projects in the local community.


At our Volunteering & Community Fair you can speak to charities, organisations, projects and societies and find out how you can get involved and really make a difference!


At our fair, you can meet: Social Impact Lab, Student Life, Social Prescribing, Yellow Door, Friends International, Southampton Voluntary Action, Southampton Hub, OXFAM (SUSU), KEEN Southampton, Southampton RAG, Conservation Volunteers, St John Ambulance First Aid, Enactus, Coppafeel UBT, Marrow, SKIP, CLEAR, Chrysalis, Communicare in Southampton, Hants & IOW Youth Commission, Southampton Social Aid Group Oldham, CentrePoint, Carers and Bereaved Network, Touch Network, MOVEMBER, Amicus, Amnesty International, October Books, LGBTQ+ Society.


To attend this event you must book a free one hour time slot. You can arrive to the fair any time within this time slot. Click 'Book Now' to book your place.


To ensure this event is safe for everyone attending, we will be asking you to show confirmation via the NHS app, email or text of a negative Lateral Flow test taken on the same day of this event before you can enter. We will not accept a photo of your test or the physical test strip as confirmation, only official NHS confirmation. We’re also asking that everyone wears a mask at this event, unless you are exempt from wearing one.


Lateral Flow tests will not be available for you to take at the event. Please test before coming to campus. If you’re showing symptoms of Covid or feeling unwell, please do not come to campus or attend our events, even if you have tested negative.
