Giant Hanukkah Menorah Lighting

For the Jewish Holiday of Hanukkah, there will be a Menorah lighting on campus! This event is hosted by the Jewish Chaplain for Southampton University. A tradition for Hanukkah is to eat oily food to represent the small amount of oil that miraculously burned for 8 days instead of just one, so doughnuts will be available!

The Southampton University Jewish Society is an inclusive society of close-knit students who get together to celebrate Jewish festivals in a friendly and welcoming environment.
