Dissertation Festival (Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024)

This event is part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024, presented by Student Disability and Inclusion team. 




This event is running as part of the Dissertation Festival. This session is aimed at offering Neurodivergent students who are working on dissertations the chance to meet with our team. We will be available to demonstrate various assistive technology software, discuss options for specialist study skills support, and guide you in the direction of useful resources to support you with your dissertation and studies.  




When and where:  




This workshop will be held on 21st March 2024 from 14:00 - 16:00 in the Hangout Space within the Student Hub, Building 37, Highfield Campus. 




What to expect:  






  • The team will share valuable resources and information to help you with your dissertation. 




  • You'll have the opportunity to book one-to-one specialist study skills sessions with a specialist practitioner. 




  • Meet and connect with the members of the Student Disability and Inclusion Team, who are here to support you throughout your academic journey. 




  • Enjoy a cold drink, tea, coffee, and biscuits. 






 How do I join the event?


You are welcome to come along to the Hangout Space inside the Student Hub, Building 37, Highfield Campus during this 2 hour period to meet with one of the team. There is no need to book, just come along at a time that suits you between 14:00 - 16:00.
