The University of Southampton Baseball and Softball Team welcomes both men and women to join and compete in both local and national Baseball and Softball competitions.

Training is every Wednesday 1:30-3:30pm at Wide Lane and every Saturday 1:30-3:30pm at Old Sports Hall 42/1001. All the equipment you’ll need is provided by the society including gloves and bats.

We are a beginner friendly club; you don’t need experience to join our team. Many of our members are total novices but you’ll pick it up quickly with our coaching and game time opportunities. Every year we enter the University Nationals competitions for both softball and baseball as well as play baseball and indoor softball leagues against other universities throughout the year. We play both baseball and softball and as of 2020, we are officially part of BUCS! Softball is mixed requiring 5 men and 5 women on a team and baseball is also open to all. The team is not just about sport, we also host weekly socials with a variety of themes and activities so there’s always something for everyone to join in on!
