This society is for anybody from the university who has an interest in the Feminist movement. We are an open-minded, political society which holds regular meetings to discuss issues surrounding feminism and the fight for gender/sexual equality, including film screenings, guest speakers, energetic debates, presentations and social meetings. We also organise regular fundraising events throughout the year for local charities relating to feminist issues

The University of Southampton Feminist Society is an inclusive group for anyone who is interested in the feminist movement. We like to discuss topics such as body positivity, intersectionality, consent, mental health, and more. As well as this, we raise money for various charities through bake sales and our Catwalk 4 Consent. Over the last year, we have started a monthly book club! We've read a bunch of different books covering sex work, being anti-racist, and the experience of growing up female. Check out our social media links to see what book we'll be reading next, and feel free to send us suggestions.

We're a friendly group of people and we're so excited to have you at our meetings!
