Engineering FC

Engineering FC is the club for all Southampton University engineers who are looking to play competitive football in an enjoyable and welcoming environment. The club is not exclusively for engineers, all degrees are welcome and encouraged to attend the trials.

The club competes in the Weekend 11-a-side Intramural league, and for the first time, is also entering a team into the Wednesday 11-a-side league for 25/26. Additionally, we compete in the Monday and Thursday Leisure Leagues held at Cantell School, and enter other university football and even futsal tournaments throughout the academic year.

As well as these competitions, we have weekly training sessions and organise casual kickabouts. We hold many activities such as weekly socials, going to events such as watching Southampton FC and we go on an annual European tour.

If you are interested in joining, trials for the 25/26 season will be on

  • Thursday 25th September, 15:00 - 17:00
  • Wednesday 1st October 13:00 - 15:00

both at Wide Lane Sports Ground.

For more information about trials or the club follow our Instagram page, @suengineers_fc, where we’ll update you on our exact location in Wide Lane on the day of the trials. Feel free to send us a DM on there with any query you may have, or send an email to one of our committee members by clicking on their name below, and they will be more than happy to help.
