Encourage everyone to carry on rugby if they have played before, and to get those that have not played to give it a go. We are able to facilitate for people who would like to play a high standard of rugby as well as those looking for a more relaxed and casual approach. Creating a fun and safe environment for rugby as well as offering academic help. For next season we are looking to win the Medical Schools' Cup to earn us our 4th title. We offer student led clinical teaching to third year medical students to help for placement and exams! Sessions are held across the second semester when third year placement begins, and anyone is welcome!

SUHRFC – The Moose are the medics rugby team in Southampton.

We field two teams a week competing in regional and national competitions. In recent years we have come away champions in both XVs and VIIs medical school cups.

Beyond rugby we organise frequent socials and weekends away, with annual tours. These events are well loved and attract a strong contingent of social members in their own right.

To a man we are always excited to see new faces and keen to help you get involved in the club. Find us on Facebook, Instagram or email us for more information.
