The Philosophy Society aims to get students who have an interest in Philosophy (regardless of their degree subject) involved with both social and academic activities.

We offer a broad range of activities, such as nights out, academic talks, debates and trips abroad..

Membership Fee Information

These are the current membership fees offered by Philosophy Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

Year Membership£501/09/2019 - 31/08/2020This entitles you to a membership card, which in turn guarantees free entry to PhilSoc events (excluding balls and collaborative events with other societies) and gives you several discounts for our events in some Southampton locations. This membership also entitles you to vote at the Annual General Meeting and any other General Meetings that may be had over the course of the academic year.
