We are Southampton University Aerial Sports Society. If you are interested in pole fitness, aerial hoop or aerial silks then this is the society for you! We hold members only lessons for pole and hoop on campus.

The Committee
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for Aerial Sports this year are:

Welfare Officer
- Fill out risk assessments for the club (annually and on event basis). Check equipment weekly and log equipment use. Organise 6 monthly equipment check. Ensure all instructors and workshop leaders have appropriate qualifications and insurance. Ensure members are aware of the risks involved in the sport and to fill-out PAR-Q In charge of Mental health and Wellbeing of the group’s members.
Events Sec
- Organize one off events like a showcase photo shoot or charity events.
Health and Safety Officer
- Risk assessments Report incidents to susu Health and safety training Perform equipment safety checks
Kit Sec
- Create kit order forms (in Google Forms / Sheets) Opportunity to re-design the kit + committee shirts Order the kit (along with the Treasurer who will provide your budget) Liaise with treasurer for collecting payments and updating the spreadsheets Liaise with the University for kit printing Be in charge of handing kit out Be good with paperwork!
Publicity Officer
- Run our twitter, instagram, and public facebook page. In charge of promoting events online. Keep the Union club page updated. Organisation of some events i.e. workshops Help competition officer and social secretary promote events. Organise leaflets/ posters/ displays for bunfight. Create posters and tickets for competitions and society events

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Aerial Sports, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
