SotonMUN is a society dedicated to those who enjoy discussing politics and international relations, as well as a wide variety of other issues that we as a species face on a day-to-day basis. When participating in the Model United Nations, you take on the role as a delegate, representing countries and organisations from around the world in a wide range of committee's, discussing issues that range from environmental problems, to education, to international security and more! As you progress through conferences, you may even have the opportunity chair some of the debates, a coveted position indeed! Not only is Model United Nations an excellent addition to any CV, but also the lessons you learn and the people you meet are truly unique to MUN. People from all walks of life, thinking in different ways is sure to both challenge and hone your view of the world. We meet every Monday at 6pm, building 5, room 2017! Feel free to join at anytime!
