American Football
The Southampton Stags American Football Club are a growing and thriving team currently competing in the BUCS South West Division 1 League. Here at the Stags we look to foster a culture of growth, encouragement, and enjoyment. We encourage players of all skill sets to join, whether you’ve been playing for years or have never picked up a ball. All we ask for is a great attitude, willingness to learn, and the drive to keep pushing forward no matter what. Training Times:
Tuesday 7:45-10pm, Thursday 7:45-10pm, Sunday 12:45-4pm all at Wide Lane Sports Ground, SO50 5PE.
The Stags are 4 time National Champions (1992, 1993, 2006, 2008), National Finalists 2012, Southern Finalists 2018 and 2020.

The Committee
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for American Football this year are:

- Overall responsibility for the Student Group
Treasurer
- Head of club finances.
Fitness and Welfare
- Head of fitness, leads warmups and team gym, as well as the dedicated welfare secretary

- Responsible for all social aspects of the group

Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by American Football, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.

This enables you to attend all socials throughout the year and be part of our gameday crew on the side-line. | |
| Term 1 membership 25/26 | £53.33 | 29/09/2025 - 13/12/2025 | Same benefits as a yearly membership, split into 3 terms to ease up-front costs. Talk to a member of the committee before purchase. |
