SuPhil is a welcoming, inclusive choir; making up the student section of the Southampton City Philharmonic Choir. The choir usually has 150+ members, with between 20 and 30 in the student section. We sing classical choral pieces and take part in 2-3 concerts a year. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30 at Turner Sims on Highfield Campus, and are led by a professional conductor. The mix of the two choirs gives a unique blend of youthful voices with those of more experienced singers. It also offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform major musical pieces with a large-scale ensemble, and with a full, professional orchestra and professional soloists. Our next concert will be Handel's Messiah - on the 10th December 2022
