Philharmonic Choir
SUPhil is a welcoming, inclusive choir; making up the student section of the Southampton Philharmonic Choir. The choir has over 120 members, with around 20-30 students. We sing classical choral pieces and take part in 3 concerts a year. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 19:30 - 21:30 at Turner Sims on Highfield Campus, and are led by our professional conductor Cole Bendall. The mix of the two choirs gives a unique blend of youthful voices with those of more experienced singers. It also offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform major musical pieces with a large-scale ensemble, and with a full, professional orchestra and professional soloists.

The Committee
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for Philharmonic Choir this year are:
President
- Oversees the running of the society and liases with Southampton Philharmonic Choir committee.
Treasurer
- Responsible for the finances of the society.
Welfare Sec
- An approachable member of the committee who is there to support members should any issues arise.
Secretary and librarian
- Takes the rehearsal register and keeps track of score hires throughout the year as well as other admin jobs.
Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Philharmonic Choir, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
