Women in Medicine
Hi! We're Southampton's Women in Medicine Society.
We're here to acknowledge the a woman's path through medicine comes with unique positives, but also many challenges. We aim to:
- Empower - providing role models and inviting inspirational speakers, whilst also helping to equip our members with tools and skills for the work place.
- Support - fostering a safe environment for discussion and advice, through a strong emphasis on welfare and community with socials, coffee catch-ups, and events discussing our mental health.
- Educate - inform on women's health issues and the obstacles that face women in medicine, including opening up debate around this for all genders.
