Christopher Small

SUSU are currently undertaking a review of the student volunteer experience to help enhance and develop this. As Zone Committee Members, your input in to this process is invaluable. Chris Small (SUSU Policy & Volunteering Manager) will be attending next Zone Committee meeting to facilitate an activity covering this topic lasting approximately 20 minutes. No preparation is required on your part, but please feel free to reflect on your experience of the following.

Recruitment/Elections – How did you find out about your role?

Handover/Induction – What initial training or handover did you receive?

Ongoing Training – What training have your received as the year has progressed?

Welfare Support/Supervision – Who do you approach for support or development?

Accountability – How are you made aware of the impact of your role?

Recognition – What is the range of recognition you receive?

Chris will be interested in both your experience and thoughts on improvements that could be made.

NB: Sophia D'Angelico and the Advice & Representation Co-ordinator (Education) will not be present for this discussion and it will not be minuted.
