10. Policy Review

The Policy Review process is how we review the Policy of the Students’ Union. It happens each year, and makes sure our Policy is up to date and relevant to the work we’re doing this year.

The process of Policy Review does this by enabling each Zone to look through the Policy that applies to their area of work, and make recommendations as to what they think should happen to it. This might be keeping it exactly as it is, updating it to make small changes, re-writing it significantly or lapsing (getting rid of) it.

Each Zone then sends these recommendations to Union Council, and the final decisions are made by Union Council towards the end of the academic year.

Policies for review from Sustainability Zone:

Business Ethics Policy (1213P10)

Valuing Diversity Policy (1011P19)
