Minutes Approved from last meeting.

3. Funding Changes
3. Update on new Funding Guidelines/Document

JW informed the commitee that he was taking the funding guidelines changes to AUC and then they would be brought to the Zone commitee and to Democracy

4. Varsity
4. Update on Varsity

JW gave a update on Varisty planning.

 - Still waiting for a list of teams from Portsmouth

 - Talking to PA Zone about Festival style activities at Wide LAne

 - Waiting for Alumni toi get back to JW about the use of St Mary's

 

JW gave a overview of Varsity Fight Night

 - Boxing Fight Night is being held on 11.12.15

 - £10 per ticket and it is Black tie

 - proceeds going to charity

5. Officer Reports
5. Intramural Officer

CM gave a brief overview of what was happening in  Intramural. Season is going olong nicely. The intramural commitee had a meeting and it was generally positive. They have appointed a IM Rep for Basketball.

Some sports are experiencing referee problems, this is to be discussed witht the Reps.

They were looking at potential rule changes e.g. changes to the walkover scores that get put in

All to be discussed at the next IM commitee meeting.

6. Particpation Officer

ER gave a brief overview of what she had been up to.

ER sent out a 28 questionaire to all sports clubs - she had 78 responses. The majority of the feedback was negative and there were 3 majopr factors for this, Funding, Storage and Space.

It was discussed that the findings of the survey should be brought to AUC and Zone commitees

ER has been attending meetings with various grousp and societies to try and break down some barriers between the clubs and SUSU.

There was some feedback about the Bunfight, clubs didnt like being put into zones as they were competing for the same people but there was a good turn out .
