We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, service-orientated individuals to join our team of student support staff. We have vacancies throughout the year and will keep applicants details on file for 12 months.
Our Food & Beverage and Retail Support Staff role will involve you working flexibly across different areas of our SUSU Social Enterprise service, so you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained and develop experience in different disciplines. We are currently looking specifically for support staff to work across:
- The Stag’s (bar)
- The Bridge (café bar)
- The Shop
- The Plant Pot
You will work alongside our permanent, core staff and you can find a description of the areas further below.
At the heart of our work is a passion for quality and friendly customer service. We offer flexible working opportunities with hours to suit you and your studies.
Our popular outlets are a great way to be busy and meet a variety of people – delivering a friendly and personal service to our many regular customers and ensuring that new customers want to return. Working across The Bridge, The Stags and Below Deck provides a busy food and drink service environment from food preparation through to serving alcoholic drinks through to till operation and clearing up.
Working in the SUSU Shop will see you provide a great level of service to our customers in a busy retailing environment: everything from handling and managing stock, replenishing shelves and displays through to working the busy tills and maintaining a clean and organised shop – all with a smile on your face.
