We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Finance Officer to join us full time (35 hours per week). 

The role will be responsible for the efficient and effective processing of all aspects of finance including the accurate processing and delivery of the payroll function within SUSU. As a team player, you will work within a small team and support with the smooth running of the finance functions.   

This is an exciting opportunity to join a student led charity based in Southampton. The role offers the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience within the not-for-profit sector including supporting finance functions for our social enterprise outlets (shop, vegan café, café bar and pub), a varied events programme. 

 

About You 

You will have previous experience in Sales and Purchase ledger, also preferably have some payroll experience of various payroll processing tasks or a good understanding and willingness to learn. 

We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. 

Previous experience of Sage is preferable, and you will hold AAT Level 3 or be willing to obtain this.
