The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill represents a crackdown on our right to assemble and protest. The Bill's fails to address the racial bias that exists within the criminal justice system, the introduction of new measures that will impact Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, and the fact that it does not include any specific measures to prevent male violence against women, issues that clearly affect the SUSU student population.
