A modern twist on a classic Shakespearean comedy, Theatre Group's "As You Like It" follows its heroine, Rosalind, as she tries to win the heart of her love, Orlando. Having been banished by her uncle's court, Rosalind and her cousin, Celia, flee to the Forest of Arden, where her mother's court was exiled years earlier. Within the forest they encounter Orlando who is also fleeing from his murderous brother. Disguising herself as a boy shepherd, Rosalind has Orlando woo her under the guise of "curing" him of his love for Rosalind. This tale of love, hate and hidden identities promises a night full of laughter and surprises... Join Theatre Group's latest production of 'As You Like It' performed in Garden Court (behind Stags).
