Welcome to the TG Freshers Show auditions for: The Marriage of Figaro! This comedy by Pierre de Beaumarchais will be coming to the Annex Theatre on the 20th-23rd November.
N.B. THIS IS THE PLAY VERSION OF THE SHOW, NOT THE OPERA VERSION.
The Freshers Show is a show exclusively for people new to the society, so whether or not you’re a fresher, you can audition as long as you’ve never done a show with us before! The one exception is: if you’ve ONLY performed in Showcase with TG then you’re also allowed to audition for this show
Auditions will take place in Building 34 (you won’t be needed the whole time):
- Thursday 26th September 18:00-22:00
- Friday 27th September 13:00-17:00
- Saturday 28th September 15:00-19:00
You will be greeted by a member of the production team in the foyer of B34 who will then direct you to the audition room. Callbacks will be on the 29th September. Please let a member of the production team know if you have limited availability then.
Please choose 1 or 2 (ideally contrasting) of the following monologues to perform in your audition. You don't need to prepare or memorise your monologue beforehand, don't worry, but you have the option to if it makes you feel more comfortable.
