A subject group for students of, and those interested in, archaeology at the University. We provide social and educational opportunities, activities and trips relevant to the subject, especially to help students (and staff in the Archaeology department!) mix. We aim to broaden and support the understanding of archaeology in the University and further and offer to provide support to students where needed.
Welcome to the University of Southampton Archaeology Society aka. ArchSoc.
We are a subject group for students of, and those interested in, the many facets of archaeology; recent, distant or the in-between. We aim to provide social and educational opportunities and trips of interest relevant to the subject. We also aim to broaden and support the understanding of archaeology in the University and further.
All clubs and societies within the Students' Union are run entirely by students. The student committee for Archaeology Society this year are:

These are the current membership fees offered by Archaeology Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
Free membership for the current academic year. It will put you on our email list for Archaeology Society to be kept up to date with all thing's archaeology! This will include information on our socials, events and information on archaeology events internal and external to the university or any information which would be beneficial for anyone studying archaeology or interested in getting involved.
All SUSU clubs & societies must have a Constitution which governs how they run
