Black Women's Project

The Black Women's Project is committed to the personal, academic and professional growth of Black Women in higher educational institutions.

Who are we?
The Black Women's Project is a society led by nine Black women, united by our passion to create a safe, empowering, and nurturing space for Black women. Our goal is to foster sisterhood, growth, and well-being in every form: emotionally, socially, and professionally.

We host a range of events that reflect our values and passions, from lighthearted, affirming spaces like 'Bring Your Bonnet Night' to professional development sessions like our 'LinkedIn Masterclass', designed to elevate and equip our members for future success.

At the heart of BWP is the spirit of connection. We intentionally build “big sister, little sister” relationships that allow mentorship, support, and genuine community to flourish. Our motto, “Be Well Do Well,” speaks to our commitment to both wellness and excellence because we believe our members deserve to thrive.

Whether you’re looking for sisterhood, support, or a space to grow, BWP is here.
