Eager to play relaxed but competitive rugby this year and make friends? Then look no further.. MONTEFIORE EXILES RFC is the most successful intramural rugby team in Southampton who accept any players from any halls. We play against other IM teams and a host of other universities in the region. Whether you are a player with years of top tier experience or looking to try something new at uni, the Exiles is a great place for anyone to get involved in rugby, with a mixed ability squad ranging from those who have played at academy level, to players who first picked up a ball at one of our training sessions, the Monte Exiles is truly a team for all. We train weekly on Wednesdays at Riverside park meaning nothing more than a stroll is required to training. We host team socials weekly along with a range of other events such as an annual tour, the Monte Halls boat ball, old boys weekend, varsity, and more, ensuring plenty of social and playing opportunities all year long.
