Montefiores Exiles RFC

The Montefiore Exiles represent Wessex Lane accommodation on the rugby pitch. Offering high level rugby against other IM teams as well as other south coast universities so there is an array of match opportunities for all members. We represent Wessex Lane accommodation but we welcome players from all halls and experience levels in rugby. Joining the Exiles will give you the chance to form lifelong friendships and get stuck into uni life, all whilst playing friendly rugby at the longest standing IM rugby club. We train twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons at riverside park, just a short walk from Wessex Lane, and play regular fixtures in these same slots. Weekly socials are the highlight of the week, only surpassed by our annual boat ball and tour.
