If I am elected as VP Welfare and Community at SUSU, I will prioritize the welfare and well-being of all students and work to ensure that all members of the student body feel supported, safe, and heard. I will strive to create an inclusive environment, where all students feel welcome and valued, no matter where they come from or what their background is.

I will work to develop and implement initiatives that provide students with the resources and support they need to succeed academically, professionally, personally, and socially. I will make sure that student views are always taken into consideration and that student interests are always represented.

I will create a culture of openness and collaboration between students, staff, and faculty, by encouraging dialogue and engaging everyone in decision-making processes. I will work to ensure that all student voices are heard and taken into account in all aspects of university life.

I will also strive to provide students with the tools they need to engage in their local communities and to positively contribute to society. I will ensure that all students have access to the information and resources they need to become active members of their communities and make a difference.

Finally, I will work to ensure that all students have access to the support they need to make the most of their time at university. Whether that is through improved mental health services, better access to extracurricular activities, or greater support for underrepresented students, I will always be there working to make sure all students have the best possible experience.
