Nan Zhou

As a PGR student who has been through the undergraduate and postgraduate periods, I am very concerned about the connections between students' activities at university and their future careers. Because of my empathy for students' current academic pressures and the pressure they feel about their future employment, I will be committed to organising activities that enrich students' university life meanwhile give them practical experience.

As a member of an ethnic minority, I am also concerned about the participation and satisfaction of international students in campus activities. I hope to promote diverse campus activities to facilitate multicultural communication and exchange on campus. I will play as the role of a bridge between the university and the students, organising as many events as possible for students as they need, and developing proposals for the university with positive social impacts.

As a film student, I also hope to gain critical inspiration for the art industry in this job, as well as strengthen my knowledge of how the art industry works and expand my research and skills in my major field. I will use the favourable resources at my disposal to integrate the strengths of the university and support affiliated Societies and other departments in the Union.
