Hello fellow students,

I would like to be nominated for the role of VP education and democracy because I believe that I am capable of ensuring that the voice of the students are heard. I am one who stands for justice and fairness in every sense of the word. I will liaise with the school authority to ensure that the undergraduate students have a profound academic experience. The postgraduate students are not left out as I will also create avenues whereby students can report their concerns to me and I can help resolve them in collaboration with the University. Transparency is key in all aspects of life and I will ensure that the union’s activities and my role are carried out with full transparency. In addition, all future elections carried out under my tenure will be done fairly and honestly. I am a medical doctor therefore empathy and good communication are skills that already possess for this reason it is safe to say that I will hold the views and or concerns of students dearly and communicate this to the appropriate authorities.
