Why vote for Bofang Zhang?

Hello everyone, I am a graduate student of the Business School. My major is information system and data strategy. Thank you very much for having a chance to run for this position. In my study and life this year, the student union has given me a lot of help. I want to contribute more to the campus and students after graduation. When I was an undergraduate, I once joined the Student Union to take charge of media work, but because my country is sensitive to multiculturalism, especially LGBT+. So as a member of LGBT+ groups, I also want to compensate for this regret here and contribute to the multicultural and LGBT+community on campus.

Students' participation in campus welfare activities is also an aspect that I really want to improve. As far as I am concerned, Chinese students are the largest group of international students in our university. But as an international student from China, I have observed that our students seem to be not fully involved in the activities of the school. Maybe foreign students from other countries have similar situations. I also hope that I can let more students from different countries and regions participate in the school life and enrich our campus life.

I think I can be competent for the work of Welfare and Community. First of all, I worked as the director of the media department in my undergraduate. I know how to operate the school's official social media accounts, such as Twitter, YouTube and INS. I am also familiar with photography and interview skills, so I can better promote welfare activities in the community. For a community, high-quality welfare support system and information dissemination ability are equally important. In short, I can try to let more people understand our welfare policies, participate in our activities and fully enjoy the welfare of campus. Besides the first time, I have enough time to participate in this work after graduation this summer.

Finally, whether I can succeed in the election or not, it is very meaningful to participate in the welfare activities of schools and communities. If you give me this opportunity, I will try my best to cooperate with other colleagues and provide more welfare services for students. Thank you very much!
