Law School President
I have been a Course Representative for the past two years meaning I already have a good understanding of the role of School President. Over this time I have developed good working relationships with Law School staff and have gained experience in addressing issues surrounding strikes, COVID and exams. I have balanced this responsibility with roles on the Law Society committee and paid work, demonstrating good time management skills.
Alongside my studies, I work part time in a Human Resources team. This experience means I am confident when presenting feedback at Student Staff Liaison Committees and can handle issues in a professional manner.
It is important to me that students feel heard when they offer their feedback. For this reason, I plan to host informal drop in sessions, send out a termly feedback form and work closely with the other Course Representatives.
Every student within our Law School deserves to feel part of a community from the moment they join. I understand that the current cohort of first years missed out but I promise to work alongside staff to ensure that all existing students and freshers feel supported regardless of what our university life looks like across the next year.
I hope you give me the opportunity to strengthen our Law School community and improve our experience as students by voting for me as your Law School President. If you have any questions, feel free to email me: email@example.com
