Key Points

  • Transparent Communication
  • Social Opportunities
  • Considering non full-time students and their responsibilities
  • Accessibility for all
  • Teaching and collaboration

I believe that collaboration is the cornerstone of innovation. In taking on the role of the FSS PGR Officer it is my intention to bridge any gaps between students and faculty. I want to uphold the research values and ethos of the university while representing my fellow researchers and addressing their significant and worthy concerns, comments, and feedback to the faculty. After speaking to my fellow colleagues their main interest is to have better communication between departments, faculties and even schools. To have spaces where they can generate new ideas and effectively utilise their research time for this. I will make sure to listen to student concerns on teaching, better pay, having face-to-face events, and facilitating training and engagement opportunities for students that are remote or have accessibility concerns and other responsibilities. I hope to create a holistic and inclusive environment where students feel free to come to me with issues that are affecting them, and I will try my best to promptly address them.

I am always up for a chat, and I look forward to representing you. Thank you for your support!
