- If elected, I will make sure to understand in depth all ECS students’ issues and convey them clearly so that the issues are resolved quickly
- I will also ensure that I am available to relay problems during both term time and the exam period
- I‘m quite persistent, and will seek out people in person
- I am respectful towards both students and faculty members, and will ensure I am a fair moderator between the two
- I’m an active member of the Cyber Security society and the ECS society, so I can both encourage University-wide initiatives and facilitate a relationship between the University and students through such events.
If you’re interested in a story…
There was a situation last year, where we were assigned to a lecture theatre that was dark, underground, stuffy and we were all very cramped and uncomfortable. I noticed that there was an empty lecture theatre above us during the same period, that was more spacious, had windows and good ventilation. I emailed the timetabling team, and they changed the location by the next lecture. Both the lecturers and the students were pleased with the outcome, and I was happy to have improved the learning experience for everybody.
