Finding the right housemates can have a big effect on your university experience. SUSU’s Housemate Finder is here to help you meet other people who are also looking for a house, or to find people to fill your spare rooms.
Before getting started, consider:
- Is signing a contract to rent a house, most likely for 12 months, the best choice for you in the current circumstances? If you would like some advice in this area, please contact the Advice Centre on advice@susu.org

I am a male returning Aerospace Engineering student going into my second year at the University of Southampton, and I'm currently looking for a room in an existing house share for the upcoming academic year. I'm ideally looking to move in in late September. My preferred areas are Highfield and Portswood, or somewhere somewhat close to campus. My ideal budget is around £175 per week, but I can consider up to approximately £210 per week for the right place.
