Finding the right housemates can have a big effect on your university experience. SUSU’s Housemate Finder is here to help you meet other people who are also looking for a house, or to find people to fill your spare rooms.
Before getting started, consider:

Hi, We have an ensuite room in the centre of the polygon, close to the city centre and especially city campus. We are also centrally located between NOCS and Highfield/Boldrewood/Avenue, so the commute to/from each of them is quite reasonable. We are also nearby to an ASDA, Lidl and the main high street. The room has an ensuite bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, tt's also spacious and gets lots of sunlight through most of the day. The kitchen is also reasonably sized and has a small attached dining area, so there's enough space to socialise or use for other means. Myself and my other housemates are currently in our second year (starting third when you'd move in) and we're all doing a mix of aero/astro and computer science degrees. When we have time, we can be quite social, but on the whole, the house is quite quiet, so it's great for those who do lots of studying at home or otherwise like a slightly quieter environment. all 3 of us are currently second year living in a 4 bedroom flat with 2 bathrooms (1 shower), washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, highspeed internet (500Mbps!!!🤯) + ethernet ports in every bedroom. We are all very cool people, i personally think of myself to be the coolest and the funnest. I absolutely love listening to music when ever i possibly can throughout the day, i have a bit of a chuddy music taste though, my favorite band/artist is probably king crimson or steven wilson's solo stuff (some of porcupine tree), but i love exploring new genres (recently started listening to steely dan and masayoshi takanaka). So if youre interested in joining our flat i'd really enjoy hearing any weird and wacky bands you listen to. I also play a bunch of video games recently ive been grinding out souls-likes, ive been replaying elden ring with a randomizer, started playing darks souls 2 at my friends house while drinking alcohol (not silly amouts dw), and also started playing lies of p. Ah also the course im on is mechanical egineering but dont let that put you off! Most people that do this degree are actually very normal great people including me of course. About the location of the flat, we are in basset so it super green, theres loads of trees AND the most awesome thing, theres a bus stop RIGHT OUTSIDE where the flat is. So if you have a bus pass you can incredibly easily go everywhere!!!! the best supermarket to go to is probabably lidl which is a single bus journey if you get the 1 to stag gates. you can also take the U6H if you want to go to the little sainsburys nearby or the m&s foodhall which is a little bit further away. i cant stress enough how lucky i feel to be living in this flat ITS PERFECT. i should mention that weve been given a really small amount of time to find someone for our flat (2 WEEKS!??!?!?!) so if you think that i sound cool and my flat sounds awesome PLEASE MESSAGE ME PLEASE!!!
