We live at 124 Gordon Avenue. I'm going on placement in June until next year so my room is now free in our 8 bed 4 bath house. My room has a double bed, a sink and mirror, as well as other usual furniture. It is at the back of the house overlooking our fairly large garden. It is spacious and has a high ceiling. I'll be leaving behind 3 girls and 4 guys who I'll dearly miss. They're all great fun to be around and if you're fairly sociable you'll befriend them them in no time. We do sometimes have parties and we do go out fairly often, but this varies from person to person. Our house is the envy of our guests, but you'll just have to see it to believe it. Our kitchen is huge, as is our living room. We have a large TV and 2 washing machines and dryers upstairs in a dedicated niche. We are very near to Lidl and Portswood road. Avenue Campus is extremely close by and Highfield is comfortably within walking distance. Parking is also free on our road, and there's always been a spot for my car. Hi, We have an ensuite room in the centre of the polygon, close to the city centre and especially city campus. We are also centrally located between NOCS and Highfield/Boldrewood/Avenue, so the commute to/from each of them is quite reasonable. We are also nearby to an ASDA, Lidl and the main high street. The room has an ensuite bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, tt's also spacious and gets lots of sunlight through most of the day. The kitchen is also reasonably sized and has a small attached dining area, so there's enough space to socialise or use for other means. Myself and my other housemates are currently in our second year (starting third when you'd move in) and we're all doing a mix of aero/astro and computer science degrees. When we have time, we can be quite social, but on the whole, the house is quite quiet, so it's great for those who do lots of studying at home or otherwise like a slightly quieter environment. I live in a flat shared with 2 other girls and it is an ensuite so you will have your own bathroom and the only shared space is the kitchen. It is a private student accomodation called Capitol Students Hampton Square, right above Nathan's Famous and across the road has a corner shop, an Asian supermarket and a Polish supermarket. It is a 15-minute walk to Highfield Campus too! Our flat is very quiet and peaceful as we all just get on with our own routines. The block I live in includes an elevator which takes you straight down to all the communal facilities: laundry room, cinema space, study rooms, gym and game room(has a pool table, darts, poker set, Mahjong and more). Overall, it is very convenient as everything is in the same building. I currently pay £228 per week with bills included but I am more than happy to discuss on a price that would work better for you. Hello, I am a male first-year Computer Science student (will be a second-year from September) who was unsuccessful in securing a place in halls for the next academic year and am looking to move in near the start of the academic year as I will be living at home in the Summer. I am open to living with any number of students, but prefer smaller groups and am happy living with male or female students studying a variety of subjects. My maximum budget is £170-£180/week, and I would be happy to contribute towards Internet fees if it means having fibre-to-the-premises. I spend most of my time on campus or in my room studying, and would prefer to live in a household with quieter people who uphold cleanliness in communal living spaces. I’m an exchange student currently living in private student accommodation looking for someone to take over my contract as my studies concluded in January 2026. I'm NOT looking for a roommate, I am looking for a REPLACEMENT. This is a really lovely room on the top floor of the building, with views of Itchen river and the sunrise in the morning. It’s only 2 mins to nearest convenience shop and a 10 min walk to the University Bus Stop. Location: Vita Student Richmond House, 3 Terminus Terrace SO14 3EU Contract end date: 18th July 2026 (option to rebook/extend, or enter a shorter contract at a different price) The move in date is flexible from February - March 2026 as I’ve paid for the room until 03/03/2026 but am allowed to find a tenant to move in sooner. Note that rent is paid upfront as an instalment. It is calculated from the move date until 18th of July 2026. For £330.94 per week, you get: * Unlimited breakfast from monday to friday, including hot food options and free coffee. * 24/7 Gym access located on the bottom floor of the building - it has 4 benches, a cable, dumbells, mats, exercise balls, a cycling machine, a rowing machine, an elliptical and two treadmills. * Weekly social events with other students: * Cooking classes in the foyer with other students * Cocktail making events sponsored by high ends brands including Grey Goose and Jack Daniels * Makeup/skincare gift bags from Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury and Sisley Paris * Free bikes to use which are in fantastic condition. I used them to run errands, cycle with friends and commute to university. This year I attended the Halloween and Christmas party, which included free drinks, a DJ/live artist and a face painter. There are several other parties around holidays, such as such as Oktoberfest with free beer and hot dogs. Finally, every second friday your room is cleaned by a housekeeper. This is an incredible price for a top floor room with beautiful views, as Vita has announced that prices for the next academic year are increasing. As I am aiming to move out as soon as possible, we require a replacement tenant, preferably female if possible, making a total of 5 housemates in all. Excluding myself, the current ratio of female to male housemates is 3:1. The house is close to campus and within walking distance of both U1A and U6H bus stops. As it is within the Bevois Valley area, it close to various pubs including The Hobbit, Sobar, The Shooting Star and Edge. The room itself is a converted living room and thus quite spacious with a bed, desk and wardrobe included. Rent is £370 a month plus £100.07 for utilities. The house itself features an oven, stove, microwave, washing machine, two toilets, a standing shower and a garden plus outside alcove.
